I'm having a little emotional breakdown right now, kinda sad that that's what it takes to get me to blog, I'll try to be better. These past 7 weeks have been an amazing adventure. Aaron and I have the greatest baby. She's happy, she sleeps and eats good, and she makes us smile and laugh every day. I'm already getting sad that she's growing up, and she's not even 2 months old. She's just so perfect. I have totally become an overprotective mom. I'm trying to relax and not go overboard but I just don't want her to have to suffer any little bit of pain. Aaron has done amazing through all of this. He's a very involved dad and helps so much. I'm so greatful he's willing to change bums, help bathe her, bounce her when she's fussy, and all that comes with a baby. Here is a very summarized list of things that have happened this past 2 months.
-Numerous poop explosions including one on the way to my mom's house and one where she pooped on me, then again on the couch in a matter of 10 minutes or so.
-2 and 6 week appointments with Cathy. At 2 weeks she weighed 8.4 and at 6 weeks weighed 10.4 and had grown an inch!
-got blessed on July 3rd
Things we have learned about Emery
-She likes tummy time and can already scoot around just using her legs, but then she drags her head on the ground and gets frustrated.
-She can sleep through fireworks but if the tv cracks it scares her big time
-She likes being held upright on your shoulder...especially mom's shoulder :)
